Monday not-wallpaper

Fraga do Alvoço 1

So far I’ve organized the first day’s photos, and posted three wallpaperish ones to Flickr. This is when I discovered that unless you’ve paid for the Flickr Pro account, you can’t publish images of a high enough resolution (and large enough file size) to make decent wallpaper.

Instead, I tossed in one more photo and made a (very short) slideshow. Click on the image above to view it, or go here for a thumbnail set with labels and descriptions.

The last image in the slide show is of a grasshopper. Your challenge is to find it.

With all that’s going on in the states, you have no idea how refreshing it is to come by and see something beautiful. Thanks.

Grasshopper spotted : full center !! [me hopping for joy]

It’s easier when one’s used since childhood to spot octopuses in their garden, under the sea….. he he !! ( thanks Ringo !)

    hidden octopus

    I even saw a near sand-like one….
And another one I didn’t even see until I went swimming down, my face mere centimeters from it : if it hadn’t blanched, I wouldn’t have looked twice… as it was, I nearly had a heart attack !!!
