Generic trailer checking all the boxes

It’s been a busy week of editing and hosting family, hence the quiet blog. But a friend just tipped me off to this, and it’s just too perfect not to share.

For the first time since I can remember, the comments section on YouTube were actually witty. Here are my favorites:

Comment that somebody else already posted on the video.

[Reply to above]: Obligatory statement that your comment is unoriginal.

Random comment about racism and homosexuality that will cause a pile of comments and arguments.

Comment that brings up an already dead conversation by telling everyone to let it go and move on.

Exasperated statement that the original comment was posted nine months ago, and no one cares any more…

Comment asking for the name of the soundtrack in a specific part of the trailer.

Comment expressing the frustration of seeing the entire plot of the movie in a 3 minute and 23 second trailer.

Comentario en lengua extranjera (comment in Foreign language).

…and they go on. Who knew that YouTube commenters could be ironic and funny?

(Hat tip to Alma.)

Brilliant. Got the day started with a big laugh.

Check out today’s Daily Telegraph, click on comment section and scroll down past the politics something for Voyagers Lynn to get her teeth into. 9/1/15.

I tried, but it’s impossible to scroll past politics because that’s all there is — and commentary regarding the Charlie Hebdo attack and its ramifications. Got a link?

  4. Cathy White says:

Ok, Google El Capitan Climb, and the Telegraph video watch and story comes up. Two guys are free climbing as we speak, and you can follow them.

  5. Lisa Shaw says:

Brainless comment asking when is this movie coming out?
