A view of the Alentejo

I don’t know how much circulation this video will get, but I’ll give it my own tiny push here. It’s a six-minute “story” (and I use that term loosely) about a tourist and her dog taking a hot-air balloon trip in the Alentejo. A slipped rope leads to an adventure, which showcases some of the beauty of that region.

Many of the places featured gave me a tug of nostalgia. It’s been years since we went to Marvão…

Looks like an exceedingly well-done tourism promo, but I like it. 😉 +1 for the dog, of course, and another for the high-def photography, and yet another for her shoes — two close-up shots reveal them to be nearly identical to the ones I’m wearing right this minute! And I recognized some of the locations from your travelogues as well, including those ruins in the square and the stones, the Almendres Cromlech, I believe?

I can see why you’d want to go back and see it all again after watching this.
