Christchurch thunderstorm

The American midwest isn’t the only place to find massive supercell thunderstorms. This one formed off the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island before sweeping over Christchurch and North Canterbury. Photographer David Hardy captured this impressive shot on 23 February.
