You have to admire the determination of a surfer in Hofn, Iceland, because nothing says “surfin’ safari” like wool gloves, a wool hat, and a thick coat with a puffy hood. But I’m guessing those waves aren’t crowded.
The mountain in the background is Kastardalur, which also seems to be at least one source of the dark gray beach sand.
