Juneau ice cave

Photographer Yosuke Sano titled this “Deep Blue Cave.” It’s at Mendenhall Glacier, in Juneau, Alaska. I’m thinking the combination of ice overhead, and running water beneath, equals “unstable, scary place you could not pay me to go into.” It’s certainly beautiful, though.

Frostify, just love it. Lol. The picture is pretty cool too!

Nah, if you had a chance to venture into an ice cave – just a little way, mind you – you’d do it! I have. I didn’t think about unstable, but it was shockingly cold and very drippy. Ice water down the back of my neck a couple of times was enough to make me get back outside!
