Midnight on doomsday

Well, it’s 23:30 Greenwich Mean Time on December 21, and the world hasn’t ended yet. Guess that means I have to pay those bills after all.

I did try to find someone who believed in this tripe, so I could talk them into signing over all of their assets to me. Alas, none of my friends or family are that gullible. Perhaps I need new friends.

Then again, that sort of friend wouldn’t find this comic amusing, and what fun would that be?

I would say I need new friends as well, but we had a lot of pre-, during- and post-apocalyptic fun, so not all is lost. I tried to get strangers to sign over their assets to me, following Neil’s suggestion, but to no avail.
It was fun to salute everybody this morning with my “Happy Solstice, survivors.”

The cartoon is great but what really made me chuckle was the “Han shot first” tee, after having watched “The People vs. George Lucas” recently.

People got it wrong. Yes, it was the end of the Long Cycle, but what they failed to realise is that it was also the beginning of the next one.

So yet another end of the world failed… 😀
    Merry Christmas !

I wonder how many end of times events I’ve lived through…must be more than one, however. Nice cartoon.
