Seven sisters

Pretty much the polar opposite of last week’s wallpaper, this one was taken in Geirangerfjorden, Norway. The photographer writes:

The series of waterfalls to the right is called “The Seven Sisters” and the hike to this view takes several hours and is pretty tough. I was hoping for better weather when we got there but I think the result came out fine nonetheless.

Better than fine, I’d say. That landscape goes well with a heavy, threatening cloud cover. It looks like the sort of place that heroic companies tramp through while carrying the One Ring. Why should New Zealand have all the fun?

Ooh, I think you have upset the kiwis, just read that Mount Ruapehu (LotR mountain) is thinking about erupting!
