It’s not all bad in Italy

These days, Italy is only in the news for stories about bad economics and worse politicians. So I’m happy to share this proof that good things come out of Italy as well. Ever heard of a glass harp? Well, how about an entire glass band?

Yes, it’s an ad. But it’s a really great ad. And I want to play the vats.

About Fletcher DeLancey

Socialist heathen and Mac-using author of the Chronicles of Alsea, who enjoys pondering science, politics, well-honed satire (though sarcastic humor can work, too) and all things geeky.

I want to play the wineolin. Precarious contraption to be sure, but so cool!

“Wineolin,” great name! And I’m thinking it’s less precarious than it looks, because surely they glued those wineglasses down…

Hopefully yes! Still, though, must take an act of balance to get it up there without spilling. And a strong arm to hold it up while playing. Normal violins you can hold without using your hands, but I think that would be hard here!

Amazing and beautiful more for my Big World file to delight and astonish Amurrican kids from a small town.
