Wallpaper Monday

boats at rest

I’d thought of a London wallpaper, in honor of the Games, but decided to go a bit further afield. This is Southend-on-Sea, in Essex. The blue light and utter stillness of the air (as evidenced by the clear reflections) say “pre-dawn” to me. And indeed, the photographer calls this shot “Blue Dawn.” Lovely.

Although I’m not at all tired of watching the Viaduc de Millau in my screen, I decided to change it today. This beautiful photo also meets perfectly my wallpaper requirements so as to avoid visual fatigue. 🙂
