Wallpaper Monday

peregrine falcon

Once in a while, that perfect shot comes along. If this were a painting, I’d buy it.

Identified by the photographer as a falcon, but I’ll go one further and say it’s a Peregrine Falcon, goddess of the skies. These birds do what fighter pilots only wish they could do, setting speed records in their screaming dives and catching their prey by knocking it right out of the sky.

It is indeed perfect. He even captured the inquisitive nature of the falcon.

  2. It’s a Peregrine alright…nature’s Top Gun.
