House demolition, US style

tank

I got a chuckle out of this BBC video, showing a 150-year-old Minnesota house being demolished (on purpose) by a tank. The best part is the narrator intoning, “This is just another scene of everyday life in the United States.”

I think his tongue was firmly in his cheek. At least I hope so!

Is it wrong that I want to drive the tank, too?

    You’re still just a kid inside, aren’t you? šŸ˜€

Is it my uneducated ear or do they have a slight accent in Minnesota?

Yes, they do have an accent in Minnesota, remnants of their Scandinavian heritage. No, it is not wrong to want to drive the tank; that is cool.
