Yosemite Valley

One of my favorite places in the world — Yosemite Valley, California. (But only when the summer crowds aren’t there.) Someday I must take my wife, for the fun of seeing her jaw drop.

The guy who took the picture says :
” it wasn’t until the late afternoon, on our way out, that the low sun drew swathes of warm light across the valley. This photo was the result of waiting for the light.”
I’ve noticed that the outcome is often much better when one is willing to wait for the best circumstances 🙂

“for the fun of seeing her jaw drop” Is it that fun? 😉

Really amazing sight. I think my jaw would also drop before i remembered to take a shot.. an hour or so later 🙂

Yep, I think you need to take her there…

It is a place I would love to visit. We were talking not long ago about that possibility, but I guess it will have to wait a bit… Let’s enjoy the waiting period watching beautiful pictures like this one!

  5. Your wife really, really, really wants to go there. And also to Steens and Wallowa Montains. And she’d love to see Vancouver Island again.

So much to see and so little time. :/ Good thing that the jaw is attached to the face… and can drop time and time again. 🙂
